Hi from Zagreb!

It’s April 22. Happy Earth Day.
Don’t delay, act today.

If you’re looking for more slogans that rhyme, or environmental slogans in general, you’ll find them among these Earth Day quotes.

But if you want to do more for our planet than just distribute inspiring phrases, you can try to reduce your carbon footprint when traveling.

Don’t know where to go? I have an idea for you. I just published a new Pipeaway Walks video from a very special place I revisited three times. That’s Erawan Waterfall in Thailand, a part of the Erawan National Park, with some of the prettiest cascades you’ll find in Southeast Asia.

If you have no time or resources to visit Kanchanaburi Province right now, make sure to watch the video, especially when stressed. Sit back and relax while virtually joining my hike through a verdant tropical forest to this seven-tier wonder with emerald-green pools.

Our planet is beautiful underground as well. If you don’t have 75 minutes for Erawan, take a look at a Slovenian cave in this 2-minute YouTube short.

I wrote an entire article on the Cave under Predjama Castle, an extraordinary bat hideout under equally extraordinary human wonder – the cliff-hanging fortress in the mountain.

This part of our planet is rich in one-of-a-kind sites, so make sure to ride a train through Postojna Cave as well when you visit Southeast Europe.

I firmly believe you don’t need to venture far to feel excitement. The greatest journeys often start in our backyard.

Two weeks ago, Artemis 2 went on a 10-day trip around the Moon, the farthest distance humans have traveled from Earth. That’s not as quick as Jules Verne‘s imaginary Moon trip that took 97 hours and 20 minutes, but it’s a lot faster than Phileas Fogg‘s 80 days around the world.

Before space travel becomes more than a literary fantasy for most of us, remember that you’re never too old to circumnavigate the globe.

Where would you like to go? Share your favorite corner of the planet with me, and let’s plan an adventure together!

Have an Earth-loving week,

Ivan Kralj
